Nikki Summers, LCSW, CAC II, received her Bachelor of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin in 1995 and her Master of Social work at The University of Texas at Arlington in 1996. She has practiced psychotherapy for the past 22 years in various settings. In the beginning of her career, she focused on treating children, adolescents, teens and their families. In 2016, she worked in an Intensive Outpatient and a Partial Hospitalization facility for substance dependence as a therapist and the clinical director. Nikki transferred to Redpoint Center in 2018 to continue devoting her time to treating adults, who struggle with substance abuse and dependence. She specializes in treating individuals with substance abuse and dependence, mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, attention deficit disorders and trauma. Her passion for her career stems from her personal struggles in life and brings an empathetic approach to her clients. When Nikki is not working, she spends her time with her two daughters when they feel like it and if she is lucky.
